We've been doing this since 5th grade. The team has gone through a few identities along the way —
each one taught us something we needed for the next.

The Megabirds 🏆 Breakthrough Award
// 2023 · the original lineup, with mentors
Our first season. Our school's mascot was a bird, so naturally our Lego mascot was a chicken.
We learned what an Innovation Project was. We learned that robotics is mostly debugging. And —
to our genuine surprise as rookies — we won the Breakthrough Award for creativity
on our Innovation Project and our custom robot architecture.

The Awesome Inventors
Year two. We started taking the engineering portfolio seriously, prototyped harder,
and shipped a custom Innovation Project we were genuinely proud of.

The Conducktors
// 2025 · the Conducktors at FLL Unearthed
We wanted a name that was fun (ducks!) and related to robotics (conductors!) — and
we crammed them together. Our final FLL season was also our first real outreach push:
we helped launch Team 73319 · Time Twisters, and they made regionals
their rookie year. By the end of the season we had a tighter Innovation Project, a
leveled-up robot architecture, and a clear path into FTC.

The Superconducktors
Our rookie FTC season. After three years of Lego, we're stepping up to metal, motors,
and high-powered electronics — and pushing ourselves to learn more, build harder, and
tackle problems we couldn't have touched a year ago. "Super" is the leap into FTC and a
nod to superconductors, which carry current with zero friction; "conducktor" is everything
we kept from FLL. And this year we're widening the circle: mentoring younger teams and
helping more kids find their way into FIRST and STEM.
