Build progress, late-night debugging stories, sponsor announcements, and the occasional duck fact.

Season reveal: we have a game.

The 2026–2027 FTC season was officially revealed on May 2. The full game manual drops at kickoff in early September, but the teaser gives us enough to start strategizing. Watch the reveal below.

Parts & budget: research is in the books.

Twelve spreadsheets, three vendor rabbit holes, and a lot of forum scrolling later — we have a parts list and a number we can defend. Now we just need the game manual.

Why we landed on goBILDA + a few REV parts.

We compared the major FTC kit options end-to-end. goBILDA's chassis won on stiffness and price; REV control-system pieces won on documentation. Here's the head-to-head.

Why we picked the name "Superconducktors."

Last season we were the Conducktors. Stepping up to FTC, we wanted a name that signaled the leap. Bonus: superconductors carry current with zero friction — exactly the energy we're bringing to the field.

Build kickoff and the first 48 hours.

Game manual drops the first Saturday of September. We'll post our day-1 strategy, day-2 prototypes, and the open questions we're chasing into build season.
